Day 01: New Delhi Wednesday Departure 6:00 PM


The journey of a lifetime begins at the Delhi Cantonment station where the guests are accorded a warm, traditional welcome before the pulls out into the night ... for a week-long luxury cruise through fascinating Rajasthan.  Enjoy your favorite drink in the bar over a tête-à-tête with your fellow travelers.  Two restaurants in the hotel serve to all those taste- buds. 




Day 02 : Jaipur Thursday Arrival 3:45 AM Departure 11:30 PM

The first stop of is Jaipur, one of the most well planned cities of the world of its time. This capital city of Rajasthan, popularly known as the Pink City, was founded by Maharaja Swai Jai SinghII, in1727 A.D. To explore the city, an air-conditioned coach takes you to Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds, which is a remarkable five storied building along the main street of the old city in pink splendor with semi-octagonal and delicate honey combed sandstone windows. A visit to Hawa Mahal is followed by trip to Jantar Mantar, the largest observatory built by the Sawai Jai Singh II.
This is followed by a visit to Amber Fort, eight kms away, where rides on caparisoned elephants add to the ambiance. Shop for Jaipur’s famous jewelry, handicrafts, carpets blue pottery and textiles. Near Ajmeri Gate is located Rajasthali - the only Rajasthan Govt. Emporium selling genuine handicrafts at fixed prices.
Return to the train to get freshen up and then in the evening visit one of the luxury hotels in Jaipur for dinner. The Luxury coaches will take you back to around 6.30 pm. Dinner on Board.

Day 03: Swai Madhopur Friday Arrival 5:30 AM Departure 10:30 AM

One can almost sense a life of the wilderness, as the arrives in Sawai Madhopur, a city named after its founder Maharaja Sawai Madho Singh I. Breakfast will be served at Hotel Vinayak which will be followed by a visit arranged to the Ranthambhore National Park, wherein are located the ruins of a 10th century fort. This wildlife sanctuary is considered to be the country’s best for observing and photographing the activities of the tiger. The park, covering an area of 392 sq.kms is home to more than 300 species of birds. The tiger, hyena, ratel, jackal and fox are among those constituting the carnivorous population here. Sawai Madhopur is known for its exclusive toys, ethnic ornaments and costumes.
Lunch will be served back at the train. Upon return to the , you leave for Chittaurgarh, when one gets an opportunity to watch the colorful countryside passing by in the daylight.

Sightseeing tour of Jhoomar Baori- houses a hunting lodge of Jaipur’s erstwhile ruler Sawai Madho Singh.

A visit to Jogi Mahal- An erstwhile forest guest house of the royalty renowned for serene views of Padam Talab.

Day 03: Chittorgarh Arrival 4:00 PM Departure 2:00 AM

After lunch on board you are in Chittaurgarh. Images of love and valour; scars of battles lost and won….thrice-besieged, Chittaurgarh Fort is all this and more. Moving legends of honor and pride will echo in your mind as you proceed to Udaipur.  
On your sightseeing tour of the city visit the largest fort of India, Chittorgarh Fort.  Stretched up to 680 acres of landscape the fort is a prominent landmark of the city.  The fort houses various impressive edifices and Rana Kumbha Palace and Padamini Palace displays best of the Rajputana architecture. Enjoy Sound and light show at the fort.

Dinner is served at Panna Hotel and there you can enjoy the cultural shows, folk music and delicious bar-be-que.

Day 04: Saturday, Udaipur Arrival 8:00 AM Departure 3:30 PM

The Luxury Coach will take you to Udaipur, the Lake City, the next morning. It was founded by Maharana Udai Singh of Mewar, after the Sisodia dynasty was driven away by the Mughals, in 1559A.D. Perhaps the two most beautiful sites of Udaipur are the dream-like marble Palaces-the Jag Niwas (Lake Palace) and the Jag Mandir, which appear to rise from the blue waters of Lake Pichhola. After lunch at Sun Set Point restaurant a visit to City Palace is exhilarating. The luxury coach then takes you back to the at Jaisalmer, thus winding up a day full of delights.

Lunch is served at Sun Set Point- an open air restaurant with fresh breeze of Lake Pichola.

Visit to Crystal Gallery- the balcony of Fateh Prakash Banquet Hall converted into a museum of crystal glass furniture, crockery, chandeliers and other antiques.

Day 05: Jaisalmer Sunday, Arrival 9:15 AM Departure 11:45 PM

In the heart of the Thar Desert lies Jaisalmer, founded by Rawal Jaisal, in 1156A.D. Here the yellow sandstone fort is an imposing sight, towering magnificently over the city. Discover the painstakingly latticed havelis or mansions with their grand facades. The Nathmalji-ki-haveli, Patwon-ki-haveli and Salim Singh-ki-haveli are fine examples of the stone carver’s skill. Shop at Rajasthali-the only Rajasthan Govt. emporium, for fine pattu shawls, mirror work & embroidered articles, wooden boxes, trinkets, silver jewelry and curios. After lunch at Hotel Moomal, go for an exciting camel ride on the sand dunes of Sam, before sipping a refreshing cup of tea. Enjoy the dinner and the cultural programs at a hotel in Jaisalmer. The train leaves for Jodhpur at night.

Folk dance and traditional music enhances the experience of dining at Jaisalmer.

Enjoy sun set, evening tea and dinner along with bar-be-que feast at Samdhani.

Day 06: Jodhpur Monday, Arrival 07:00 AM Departure 3:30 PM

Next morning the is in Jodhpur, a city ringed by a high stone wall with seven gates and several bastions. This second largest city of Rajasthan, founded by Rao Jodha in 1459 A.D. is known for its rock-solid Mehrangarh Fort. The grand palaces within- Moti Mahal, Sheesh Mahal, Phool Mahal, Sileh Khana and Daulat Khana are impressive examples of architectural excellence. Near the fort complex lays Jaswant Thada, and a group of royal cenotaphs made of white marble.
Also visit Umaid Bhawan Palace the finest and largest palace in the world. While in Jodhpur shop for the exquisite handcrafted articles including the famous breeches, embroidered shoes, metal curios, silverware, paintings and tie and dye fabrics. Post breakfast return to the train and dinner is served on board. 

Day 07: Bharatpur Tuesday, Arrival 5:00 AM Departure 8:45 am

Early next morning, the train arrives in Bharatpur, the capital of Maharaja Suraj Mal. After breakfast pay a visit to the world famous bird sanctuary, Keoladeo Ghana National Park, the nesting place of thousands of Egrets, Siberian Cranes, migratory Water Fowl and other species of birds. The park boasts of over three hundred species of birds out of which many migrate from distant places like Siberia and China to India.

Day 07: Agra Arrival 10.30 AM Departure 11:00 PM

Arrive at Agra and enjoy a day sightseeing tour of the city of Taj Mahal. After lunch move on to at the Taj Mahal, one of the seven wonders of the world. A pristine monument of undying love. It was built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved queen Mumtaz Mahal. Agra is known for its splendid marble inlay work like the Pietra Dura work on the Taj, leather goods and jewelry. After dinner on board and enjoy a good night’s sleep.

    Day 08: Arrive Delhi at 0500 hrs

    Arrive Delhi at 0500 hrs and breakfast will we served on Board. Disembark at 0800 hrs and proceed for onward destination
